Before moving to Silver City 16 years ago I spent the majority of my adult life in San Diego, California. However, my early years, up until high school, were spent in the Pacific Northwest and Montana roaming in the woods. That early exposure influenced the decision to step into retirement near the Gila Wilderness. My career was spent in Finance, specifically in Mortgage Loan Servicing, working for both national and international corporations. During that time I directly managed specific servicing departments, and then oversaw multiple department managers as part of senior administration. Along the way I got a Masters in Business Administration and finished my career facilitating systems conversions and mainframe development projects. Upon retirement I wanted to participate in the community and was on the Silver City Food Cooperative Board, Town of Silver City Planning and Zoning Commission, and Silver City Mainstreet Board. I continue to serve on the MainStreet board and am honored to now be part of swnmACT.
