Anna Marie relocated to Silver City in August 2025 from central Pennsylvania, where she built a life rooted in nature, hospitality, and the arts. There, she and her family ran a bed and breakfast and hosted house concerts for 20 years, creating meaningful community connections through music and shared experience. She also spent 22 years at Penn State University as an Administrative Support Assistant. Her most recent position at Penn State was with the Environment and Natural Resources Institute, supporting work aligned with conservation and environmental stewardship.
A certified Forest Therapy Guide, Anna Marie is passionate about offering experiences that foster connection, reflection, and well-being through time in nature. Inspired by the region’s climate, wilderness, and vibrant arts culture, she is honored to serve on the Arts, Culture, and Tourism Board and looks forward to supporting initiatives that integrate arts, nature, and wellness in Southwest New Mexico.
